What we collect
Information you give us through the contact, reference-request and newsletter forms and the booking scheduler: name, company, role, work email, phone if you provide it, and your message. Usage data collected by Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, referring site, and interactions such as button clicks and form submissions.
Visitor identification
We use a visitor-identification service (Apollo.io) that matches a website visit to the company it came from, using the network the visit was made on. It tells us which companies read the site and which pages they viewed; it does not tell us who you are as an individual. To opt out, open any page of this site with ?analytics=off added to the address, which switches off all analytics and visitor identification in that browser, or email edsmith@fractionalsalesexperts.com. California residents have the right to opt out of this processing.
How we use it
To respond to you, schedule conversations, send the notes you subscribed to, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics set cookies or identifiers to measure site use. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work. We have Google signals turned on in Google Analytics. For visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have ads personalization on, Google associates the visit with that account so we can see aggregated age, gender and interest reports. We never see who you are, and we do not use it to advertise to you. You can switch it off in your Google account under My Ad Center, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Retention and sharing
Form submissions are kept in our CRM for as long as we have a business relationship or a reasonable expectation of one. We share data only with the services that run the site (Vercel, Google, Apollo.io, Resend, the CRM) and never for their own marketing.
